Welcome to Hays 4H Shooting Sports

 whole group

The focus of all 4-H programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. The National 4-H Shooting Sports Program stands out as an example. Youth learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, the principles of hunting and archery, and much more. The activities of the program and the support of caring adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills, self-worth, and conservation ethics.

Hello Shooter's,

I have had a lot of question on the entry forms for the Houston Shoot. I have spoken to Richard Parrish at the Extension office and here is our plan.

Please understand there are only 200 openings per division. It will close once they reach the limit of shooters.
So, If you are interested, I will print out the forms and bring them to the meeting tonight. You can complete the forms and I will notarize them for everyone. You will need to bring the entry fee of $125.00 The club will write one check to county extension office. The County Extension office is require to send the forms and the money to Houston Rodeo/ Young Gun.
The only thing I can't do is take everything to the county, so if someone would be willing to do that first thing Friday morning, it would be a great help.
Again, I can't guarantee that we will be accepted. Please understand.

Thank You
Lisa
